RockWeb has been used in two new potash shafts in Eastern Canada. Construction of the shafts required sinking through a hygroscopic salt mineral called carnallite which disintegrates in contact with moisture, and thus concrete could not be poured against it.
Because it has no solvents at all, RockWeb was the logical choice for a sealant to be placed between the salt body and the poured concrete ground support.

The work was completed in-cycle with lilttle setup time and no major interruptions to the sinking process using the RW4 Spray Rig which was purpose-built for the application.
